SRINAGAR: Two boys were injured after receiving an electric shock while taking photographs atop a train at Budgam Railway Station on Friday, officials said.
They said the injured were brought to SMHS Hospital Srinagar after they came in contact with a live electric wire while taking photos on top of a train at the railway station.
The injured have been identified as Reyan Ahmad, son of Shameem Ahmad Dar, a resident of Maharajpora Batamaloo, aged 16 years, whose condition is stated to be critical, and Arbaz Ahmad Dar, son of Mehraj-ud-Din Dar, also a resident of Maharajpora Batamaloo, aged 20 years, whose condition is stable, he said.
Both are undergoing treatment, while further details are awaited. (KNC)
