JKNPF strongly condemns the horrific killing of a Kashmiri Pandit in Shopian by Militants supported by Pakistan

The murder of a Kashmiri pandit by Militants supported by Pakistan here in Shopian was condemned on Saturday by the Jammu and Kashmir Nationalist People’s Front (JKNPF).

The Chief Patron Shri Sanjay Kumar and party president Shri Shiekh Muzaffar of the Jammu Kashmir Nationalist People Front both vehemently denounced the Shopian murder of a Kashmiri Pandit in broad daylight.

The murder was described as a horrifying crime against humanity and called for giving a befitting reply to hatred and terror.

They claimed that such senseless bloodshed serves no purpose and simply strengthens the determination of the JKNPF, which has requested that the government relocate Kashmiri pandits to safer locations.

The chief patron, Shri Sanjay Kumar said “I vehemently condemn the terrorist attack in Shopian that resulted in Pandit Poran Krishan Bhat’s death. “The entire nation is unified in its opposition to terrorist plans,” Sanjay stated.

Together, we must establish a secure atmosphere for our Kashmiri Pandit family members and respond appropriately to intolerance and terrorism, he continued.

“We categorically condemn the killings of our Kashmiri Pandit brothers,” the party president, Shri Shiekh Muzaffar Ahamd, stated.

“The ugliness of terrorism stands in the way of Kashmiri Pandits’ security and rehabilitation,” Ali added.

Pertinently militants fired upon a Kashmiri Pandit identified as Pandit Poran Krishan Bhat son of Tarak Nath Bhat, a resident of Choudhary Gund Shopian from close range at his residence.

He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
