Srinagar: Gunfight has started between Terrorists and security forces in Frassipora area of South Kashmir Pulwama district on Thursday.
Srinagar based news agency Kashmir scroll quoted top police official as saying that a joint team of Police and Army launched a cordon and search operation in Frassipora Pulwama.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding Terrorists fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight, the officer said.
Meanwhile the officer confirmed about the exchange of firing between Terrorists and security forces.
