In the Jammu Division, intermittent light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder/lightning in plains and light to moderate snowfall in higher reaches is anticipated between January 30-31 and February 3-4.
The department emphasizes the potential temporary closure of roads in higher reaches and important passes, urging travelers to plan accordingly.
Also, farmers are advised to adjust irrigation and fertilizer activities, draining excess water from orchards and fields during the specified period.
