Srinagar: The government is expected to announce summer vacations for colleges in the Kashmir Valley from next week.
“Vacations are scheduled as per the official academic calendar, and a formal order is expected to be issued anytime soon”, reported a local news portal DSN.
“We are planning to announce summer vacation for colleges from July 15th,” Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department, as per the report said.
“The order regarding this will be issued shortly,” Kumar added.
Notably, the 10-day vacations for schools across Kashmir will start from tomorrow (Monday).
