SRINAGAR: The weather in Jammu and Kashmir is expected to remain unsettled today, with forecasts indicating one or two spells of rain, thundershowers, hailstorms and gusty winds at scattered to many places across the Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the weather forecast, intermittent weather activity may occur during the day, while a generally dry spell is expected to prevail from May 31 to June 3. However, brief spells of rain or thundershowers at isolated places, particularly during late afternoon hours, cannot be ruled out.
From June 4 to 5, the weather is likely to remain partly cloudy with chances of brief rain, thundershowers and gusty winds at scattered locations. On June 6, generally cloudy conditions with brief showers are expected, while June 7 and 8 are likely to remain largely dry.
Advisory Issued
The weather office has advised residents to remain cautious as there is a possibility of thunderstorms, lightning, hailstorms and gusty winds with speeds of 40–50 kmph at a few places during today afternoon.
