Bandipora: Come what may, we will fight the coming elections tooth and nail,” these remarks were made by the senior Congress leader Imtiyaz Parray in Bandipora during a workshop at the Muncipal committee office in Hajin area of Bandipora district.
Imtiyaz Parray said that he will “not make Article 370 and 35A as a central agenda to fight these elections but that his “focus will be development of my constituency.”
Parray while talking to media persons said the the agenda for today’s meeting was to “discuss the future course the party to strengthen it at grassroot levels.”
“No doubt we lost some part of our constituency in the recent held delimitation process, but that doesn’t mean I will stop fighting for the election,” Parray said.
He said all the previous leaders have ignored this constituency and that he was given an opportunity he “will try to serve the people of my constituency to the best of my capabilities.”
He said, “the earlier elected leaders have been fighting elections on India-Pakistan agenda and that I will not play any politics on 370, 35 A and neither on the name of India or Pakistan.”
Imtiyaz Parray said he had been Indian all his life and that the politicians have been changing their language for the fear of agencies and now the Article 370 and 35A.
