One person arrested for collecting funds for banned organization Jamaat-E- Islami in Baramulla
Baramulla, April 25, Baramulla police Acting on a specific information about collection of money in the name of banned organization Jamaat-e-Islami in town Baramulla, Baramulla Police and Army 46RR arrested one person namely Mohd Amin Ganie son of Ali Mohammad Ganie resident of Microwave Colony Kanlibagh Baramulla who was riding on a scooty bearing registration No. JK05G-7856. 3 receipt books of Jamaat-e-Islami, 1 mobile phone and cash of 15900 INR which was collected by him from the general public in the name of banned organization JeI.
A search was also carried out at his house at Kanlibagh Baramulla and following material was recovered i.e 1. JK Bank Passbook 02 No’s, 2. JK Bank Cheque Books 03 No’s and 3. Blank booklet of Jamaat-e-Islami.
Cases under sections of UA (P) Act registered in Police Station Baramulla and investigation set in motion.
