Moderate intensity Western Disturbance to impact J&K, Ladakh on 22-23 May

Snowfall likely over higher reaches, colder weather to prevail

Tomorrow rain showers are possible at a few places. Most part of the day should remain dry.

A moderate intensity Western Disturbance is expected to impact Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh on 22 May (Sunday) from afternoon hours.

Under its influence, widespread rains are expected across Jammu and Kashmir.
Its main impact will remain on Monday (23 May).
Snowfall is also possible over higher reaches.
Day temperatures will remain below normal by 5 – 13°C. Thus colder weather is expected on Monday.

Improvement in weather is expected from Monday (23 May) morning.

⚠️Risk of Landslides/shooting stones over Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
