Militants attack army patrolling party in Budgam

Budgam: Militants reportedly fired upon an army patrolling party near District Court Complex in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

The attack was carried out by militants at around 9:50 Tuesday morning. Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that an army party from 62 Rashtriya Rifles was patrolling in the area, when it came under fire.

Sources added that there was an exchange of fire and two persons had sustained bullet injuries.

There was no word from the police on the incident yet.
