Srinagar: A man died in a self-immolation in Aragam Area of North Kashmir Bandipora district on late night.
Reports reaching news agency Kashmir scroll that during night hours from ward no 4 aged about 29 years put kerosene oil into his body and burnt himself.
His family members extinguished the fire and rushed to district hospital Bandipora in critical condition, they said.
From Bandipora he was referred to SMHS srinagar, however, he died on the way, They said.
After completion of medical legal formalities dead body handed over to legal heirs.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.(KS)
