SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir government has decided to shift the academic session up to the 9th standard back to November- December instead of the March session.
Jammu and Kashmir’s Education Minister Sakina Itoo confirmed that the academic calendar would return to November-December for students up to 9th standard.
“For now, we will restore the academic session back to November-December up to 9th standard. For students of 10th to 12th, the academic session will be restored from next year,” she stated.
Previously, in 2022, the authorities in Jammu and Kashmir announced that a Uniform Academic Calendar would be implemented from the 2022-23 academic year. – (KNO)
