Srinagar: An unidentified militant was killed after security forces foiled an infiltration bid in the Sabura Nala area of Uri in North Kashmir‘s Baramulla district.
Local news agency GNS quoted officials as saying that during wee hours, movement of militants was detected. Infiltrators were challenged by the security forces, leading to a firefight.
During the firefight one militant was killed, whose identity was not yet ascertained, he said.
