SSP Ganderbal, Khalil Poswal in a press confrence said, that the elder sister, who had accompanied the victim, was arrested after her involvement in the crime was established. “During sustained questioning and corroboration with forensic evidence, it was found that the sister herself was responsible for the murder”.
“The sibling, confessed to hitting her with a stick after an argument, causing her death”, SSP said.
“We collected all evidences and same will be produced to court”, SSP further said.
He said the accused attempted to mislead the family and investigators by claiming that unknown men had tried to abduct the sisters.
