SRINAGAR: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a nowcast update at 2:55 pm warning of intermittent rains and thundershowers across several districts of Jammu and Kashmir over the next few hours.

Forecast (next 3 hours):
Generally cloudy conditions with intermittent drizzle/light rain or thundershowers are expected over:
- Kashmir: Ganderbal, Baramulla, Bandipora, middle & higher reaches of Anantnag, Kulgam and Pulwama.
- Jammu Division: Parts of Ramban, Doda, Kishtwar, and a few areas of Reasi, Udhampur and Samba.
- Outlook (subsequent 3 hours): Light drizzle/rain at a few places.
- Warning: The MET Centre has cautioned about the possibility of landslides, mudslides, and shooting stones at vulnerable stretches. Residents and commuters have been advised to stay away from rivers, streams, Nallas, and unstable structures during this period.
