SRINAGAR: Amid the prevailing heat wave and the soaring temperature in Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir government is mulling to announce the summer vacation for schools from July 01 of 2025.
Health and Medical Education and School Education Minister Sakina Itoo as reported by Greater Kashmir has said that the government was considering announcing the summer vacation for the schools from July 01 of 2025.
“We are planning to announce summer vacation from July 1 of 2025 for one week. We will assess the weather condition before announcing any extension in the summer vacations,” said Itoo as per the report.
The statement comes amid the growing demand from the stakeholders for the announcement of summer vacation for the schools with soaring temperatures being witnessed for over a week now.
