Bandipora: Authorities Seems to be in deep Slumber Commuters and Drivers and locals expressed anguish. Fialure of authorities to macdamise Ganastan Shahdipora road.
The road From Ganastan to Shadipora (3 kilometers approximately) connecting Srinagar highway in north Kashmir’s sub division Sumbal area of Bandipora district is in dilapidated condition irks locals , causing immense problems to the Commuters na drivers.
Social Activist Sheikh Aijaz Ahmad a local resident ‘said” that the road is the nearest road connectivity from Nowgam, Ganastan and adjoining areas to connect. with Shadipora and other near by villages of area as compared to main city Srinagar.
Everyday locals of area go working as labourers inl adjoining area’s Srinagar are facing lot of problems due to bad condition of this road, and dilapidated rods the worst hit and they often reach their destinations late and the road is very bad, women’s and students are suffering badly due to the shabby road as it remains filled with holes at many places.
He added’ that the Government’s tall claims of providing proper road connectivity to rural areas have proved a joke here as roads in the village are in bad shape and have developed large problems and due to which Commuters and drivers are facing difficulties.
The locals residents appealed to the concerned authorities and DC Bandipora to intervene into the issue and make immediate redressal of their genuine greviences as soon as possible so that the locals of said area may not suffer more.
