The dead body of a 22-year-old youth was recovered by locals at Sail Beerwah area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday morning.
Local news agency Kashmir News Trust quoted officials as saying that locals spotted the dead body and subsequently informed the police, police team rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
The deceased has been identified as Sameer Ahmed son of Abdul Majeed, a resident of Zanigam Sail Beerwah.
Police have registered a case and started an investigation in this regard.
