Srinagar: Kashmir is set to face another cold wave as temperatures are expected to dip significantly over the next 48 hours.

According to Kashmir Weather forecast, central and north Kashmir plains will experience nighttime temperatures ranging between -4°C and -6°C. Meanwhile, the south Kashmir plains are likely to endure even harsher conditions, with temperatures plunging to -6°C to -9°C.

Dry weather is anticipated to persist across the region until the end of the month, leading to further declines in water levels. A weak Western Disturbance is predicted to affect the region around January 31, though its impact is expected to be minimal.

Residents are advised to take precautions as the extreme cold conditions may exacerbate health concerns and water shortages.
