Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party Vice President & party’s South Kashmir Lok Sabha seat candidate Zaffar Iqbal Manhas has extended sympathies with the families affected by hailstorm ravaging different parts of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday.
Manhas in a statement said that he is deeply aggrieved by the hailstorm, which has damaged the orchards and vegetation in different parts including in Trenz, Mohandpora, Thairan, Dangarpora, Moolu, Chitragam, Khurampora and other adjacent villages.
Manhas has urged Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha led administration to depute teams to the affected areas to assess the damage caused by the weather vagary and release appropriate compensation to the families on the priority. -(KS)
