Bandipora: Actionaid Association (India) organised one day capacity building training program in order to build an understanding towards child protection. The training program was held in Dak banglow Sumbal area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday.

In which participants from both Government as well as Non-Government sectors, PRI’s , Asha Workers, ICDS workers, health workers, teachers and other independent social workers took part of this program. They had been given knowledge about different rights of Child’s.

Actionaid Association (India) is organising a andseries of trainings for the community based child protection groups.

While talking to media Ms, Nadiya Habib Program Officer said” The training programmes are aimed at building the required knowledge of community members on child rights, child protection, Juvenile Justice act, and family based alternative care for children in need of care and protection so as to realise the dream of happy childhood. Participants felt gratitude and they suggested that in future such progammes should be conducted in every corner of Kashmir for the protection of children and their safety.
