Pulwama: “The District unit of Aam Aadmi Party will contest elections at all panchayat and municipality constituencies of this southern district with full might”.
This was revealed by Mudasir Hassan, youth wing incharge and spokesperson of AAP here at Akber Hotel addressing to a press conference.
Through media the AAP’s youth wing incharge and it’s spokesperson for Kashmir appealed administration for taking measures for easy transportation of apple laden trucks along the national highway.
“The traffic along NH should be managed in a way that apple laden trucks from Pulwama and Shopian should not get stuck in jams along national highway as was seen during previous some years ” he said, appealing authorities for issuing traffic advisory well in advance to facilitate easy movement of fruit ladden trucks.
He also said that AAP doesn’t endorse installation of prepaid electricity smart meters in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that Jammu and Kashmir have resources to generate surplus electricity .
“The government can use its resources to generate much electricity in Jammu and Kashmir that it can provide free of cost electricity to the people here , ” he said, adding that the fact is that less amount of electricity is generated.
The young AAP leader also said that the amount of subsidised ration distributed through the public distribution system has been reduced over the past few years.
He urged the government to ensure its quality because as per him they received reports of poor quality rice being distributed among people at some places.
The AAP leader urged authorities for releasing salaries of daily wage employees and framing a permanent policy for them.
He also demanded starting a seperate bus service from Pulwama to Srinagar for female passengers and construction of a fly over in this southern district.
