KUPWARA: A woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her residence in Awoora area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday.
Quoting officials, news agency Kashmir News Corner reported that a lady identified as Heena Begum ,resident of Ganie Mohalla, Awoora, was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside her home.
Upon noticing the incident, family members rushed her to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kupwara for treatment. However, doctors at the hospital declared her brought dead.
The body has been kept at SDH Kupwara for post-mortem examination and completion of other medico-legal formalities.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the matter and initiated further proceedings.
