Srinagar: A 75 year old woman allegedly committed suicide by consuming a poisonous substance in Kreeri area of North Kashmir, police said on Saturday.
An official told Kashmir Scroll that a woman (name withheld) had consumed a poisonous substance at her home after which she was referred to Sub-District Hospital Kreeri from where she was referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar where she succumbed
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the matter and started further investigation. (KS)
