Two more earthquake incidents have been reported in Jammu and Kashmir, taking the toll to seven in less than seven hours.
The fresh tremors of 3.1 and 3.4 occurring in Kishtwar district at 9:13 PM and 9:36 PM, have created a hysteria over the recurrence of the events, which, according to official accounts, as per Alfaaz-The Words, started at around 3:48 PM in Zanskar area in Kargil Ladakh measuring 5.5 Magnitude on Richter scale. It was followed by 3.8 Magnitude at around 3:57 PM.
Shaking of 4.8 Magnitude was felt in Kishtwar at 4:01 PM succeeded by a 3.6 tremor felt in Kishtwar region at 4:18 PM.
A 3.4 magnitude earthquake was felt in Kargil Ladakh, third in less than an hour, at 4:44 PM.
However there have been no immediate reports of any loss to life or damage to any property anywhere.
