SHOPIAN: In a spirited display of patriotism, the District Administration Shopian in collaboration with District Police Shopian today organised a Tiranga Bike Rally, witnessing huge participation from locals, students, NCC cadets, volunteers, officials, and members of civil society.
The rally commenced from DPL Shopian, passed through the main market areas, and returned to DPL, drawing the attention and admiration of onlookers along the route.
Tricolours fluttered proudly as participants rode together, spreading the message of unity, peace, and national pride.
Organised under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign (2nd to 15th August), the event encouraged citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes and strengthen their bond with the nation.
The rally conveyed a strong message that the Tiranga is a living emblem of our sacrifices, our freedom, and our shared responsibility to uphold the ideals of unity, harmony, and integrity.
The District Administration appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the public and urged everyone to actively join the ongoing Independence Day celebrations by embracing the spirit of Tiranga in every household.
