Three persons involved in Burglary of Ziyarat Sharieff Palhallan arrested, CCTV camera, mobile phone & copper items recovered; Police

Baramulla, 19 April (EK): Police on Tuesday said they have arrested three persons Involved in burglary case of Ziyarat Sharieff Palhallan and other incidents at palhallan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla, Pattan, officials said.

Police as per Eternal Kashmir –(EK), said that police Post Palhallan received written complaints from the Intizamiya Committee Ziyarat Sharif Palhallan and other residents of Palhallan areas regarding theft incidents from time to time and to the effect case FIR No. 66/2022 u/s 457, 380 IPC stands registered in Police Station Pattan.

“During the course of investigation, a special investigation police team headed by SHO PS Pattan assisted by IC PP Palhallan under the supervision of SDPO Pattan was constituted and raids at several suspected locations were conducted, many suspects were called for questioning and finally arrested one thief identified as Bilal Ahmad Waza S/O Mohammad Ashraf Waza R/O Raipora Palhallan, Pattan”, they said.

Moreover, “on his disclosure involvement of other partners namely Azardin Bhat @ Betab S/O Ab Majeed Bhat R/O Tantraypora Palhallan and Hashim Ramzan Gojri @ DP S/O Mohammad Ramzan Gojri R/O Gojri Mohalla Palhallan was surfaced and were immediately arrested”.

The spokesperson further said that, “on their disclosure, CCTV Camera, mobile phones and copper items were recovered from them. They also confessed their involvement in different theft incidents which took place within Palhallan area. They aslo said that, general public of the area appreciated the action by Baramulla Police against the thieves,”. (Eternal Kashmir – EK)
