A soldier was killed during an encounter that broke out in the Baji Maal forest area of Rajouri district on Wednesday.
Local news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) quoted officials as saying that security forces were on search operations in the Baji Maal forest area when contact was established with hiding terrorists.
He said that in the ensuing encounter, an army soldier was killed, while operation was going on.
