SHOPIAN: As part of the observance of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas and to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India, Shopian Police organised a Photo Exhibition Programme showcasing the remarkable life, vision, and contributions of Sardar Patel towards national unity and integration.
The exhibition featured rare and inspiring photographs portraying Sardar Patel’s pivotal role in unifying the nation and strengthening the foundation of independent India. The event aimed to promote the spirit of unity, patriotism, and collective responsibility among the youth.
Students from various schools across the district participated in the event with great enthusiasm. On the occasion, SSP Shopian Shri Mushtaq Ahmad Choudhary-JKPS felicitated the participating students with certificates of appreciation and mementos in recognition of their active participation. Addl. SP Shopian, DySP Hqrs Shopian, and DySP DAR Shopian were also present at the event.
Shopian Police reiterated its commitment to fostering unity, peace, and communal harmony in the true spirit of Ekta Diwas.
