JAMMU: The Director of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has issued fresh instructions regarding the reopening of schools and resumption of classwork in Jammu.
As per the order, all Government and Private schools shall remain closed on September 6, 2025.
The order further states that:
- Heads of Institutions (HOIs) and staff are directed to report for duty from September 8, 2025.
- HOIs must conduct a comprehensive security and safety audit of school buildings.
- Schools should ensure readiness to resume offline classes, with an appropriate decision on the commencement of offline classes to be taken from September 10, 2025.
- Chief Education Officers (CEOs) of the respective districts have been instructed to monitor day-to-day activities and submit detailed reports to the DSEJ office.
The DSEJ has directed all concerned authorities to ensure strict compliance with the instructions in letter and spirit.
