Srinagar: Ramban Administration has issued a warning about the rapidly rising water levels of the River Chenab at Layee village in Paddar, located about 20 km upstream of the Kiru dam.
To ensure safety of residents authorities are advising residents to remain vigilant and steer clear of the riverbanks.
In a post on “X”, Ramban Administration wrote, ‘Just in: As reported by the authorities, the water level of River Chenab at Layee village (Paddar), located around 20 km upstream of Kiru dam, is rising fast. People are advised to stay vigilant and avoid going near the river.

Officials are closely monitoring the situation and emphasize the importance of safety for all residents.
