Moderate to heavy rain showers are expected over most plains of Jammu and Kashmir while moderate snowfall is expected over higher reaches during the next 36-48 hrs.
Few higher reaches may see heavy snowfall during next 36 hrs, there is a possibility of seasons first snowfall over Sonamarg, Doodhpatri, Gulmarg, middle and higher reaches of Kulgam, Shopian & Kupwara during the above mentioned period.
Peak activity of the weather system will begin from tonight up to tomorrow late night.
No Snowfall prediction in plains of Kashmir Valley.
