Possibility of Light to moderate rain at cattered places of J&K

SRINAGAR: The Meteorological department on Wednesday said that there are chances of light to moderate rain along with gusty winds on parts of J&K.
They issued an advisory in which they asked farmers to suspend agricultural operations, avoid shikara rides and cable car rides for two days because of gusty winds and hailstorm.
“Possibility of Light to moderate rain with thunder/Lightning accompained with Hailstorm and gusty winds @ 30-40 KMPH over most parts of Kashmir and isolated places of Jammu & Ladakh Division during 19th May to 23rd May,” Said an official of MeT
“Farmers are advised to avoid/suspend any kind of chemical spray including fertilizer application and irrigation,”he said.
Avoid Shikara riding and cable and Boating in Dal Lake and other Lakes besides that avoid cable car riding in Gulmarg, he added.
