Barbar shop partially damaged in fire mishap
Police on Tuesday evening rebutted the reports of an IED attack in Khudwani area of Kulgam district.
Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Scroll quoted officials as saying that a fake news is being circulated by rumor mongers on social media platforms that terrorists have carried out an IED Blast at Khudwani Qaimoh, which is totally fake and baseless.
“No such incident has taken place in the district. The general public is requested not to pay heed of rumours. Rumour mongers shall be dealt strictly under law.” He said.
He said that at Kawakibazar Quimoh there is one Barber shop of Rouf Ahmad Hajam S/O Gh Mohd Hajam R/O Chedar which got partially damaged due to fire.
He said that the cause of the fire was a short circuit and no loss of life or injuries occurred.
