Srinagar: Police in Handwara after obtaining an attachment order passed by Hon’ble Additional Sessions Court Handwara attached properties (3 Kanals, 12 Marlas ) land worth lacs.
As per police statement, the property belonging to terror handlers based in Pakistan namely Tahir Ahmad Peer S/O Shamus-ud-din peer R/O Badrah Bala Qaziabad and Mohd Ramzan Ganie S/O Mohd Abdullah Ganie and resident of Ganapora Qaziabad has been attached.
The action was taken under sections of 88 CrPc (83 central) & are linked with case FIR No. 73/2011 U/S 2/3 EIMCO Act, 121 A RPC of Police station Kralgund.
The property was identified belonging to absconders during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by Police.
The operation reaffirms the commitment of Police to combat the terror activities. —(JKNS)
