SRINAGAR: Traffic is plying on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) from both sides as of morning hours on Sunday, despite prevailing inclement weather conditions.

Quoting official, news agency Kashmir News Corner reported that Jammu-Srinagar National highway is open for traffic amid wet weather.

However, the Mughal Road, Sinthan Road and Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri (SSG) Road have been closed for vehicular movement due to snow accumulation, official added.

Commuters have been advised not to rely on rumours and to verify road status only through official channels of the Traffic Police.
