Srinagar: A man was hospitalized after being stabbed by a group of unidentified persons in the Batamaloo area of Central Kashmir Srinagar District on Saturday evening.
Srinagar Based news agency Kashmir Scroll quoted reliable sources as saying that one Shabir Ahmad, a resident of Mehjoor Nagar, was subdued and stabbed by the unidentified persons at Rek Chowk Batamaloo.
“The person suffered injuries in the incident and was immediately taken to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for treatment, where his condition is said to be stable,” said the sources.
Meanwhile, police have launched a manhunt in the area to nab the assailants.
