A Lt Col who was injured in a gunfight eight years ago succumbed to injuries.
Local News Agency Kashmir Scroll quoted officials as saying that Lt Col Karanbir Singh Natt, Sena Medal, who was in coma for last eight years after receiving serious injuries while fighting terrorists in Kupwara district in J&K in 2015, passed away on Saturday in Military Hospital Jalandhar.
They said that Lt Col was in coma for the last eight years continuously and succumbed today.
