Srinagar: A 37 -year-old Lineman died in after he fell from an electric pole in Central Kashmir budgam district on Tuesday afternoon.
Srinagar based news agency Kashmir scroll quoted official as saying that one of Farooq Ah Wani of Aripath, Budgama Power Development Department (PDD) lineman, was repairing an HT line at his native village of Budgam district when he fell from the pole.
They said that Farooq was rushed to nearby hospital Budgam where he was shifted to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment, however, he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, the Police has registered a case and started an investigation in this regard.
