SRINAGAR: Parts of Kashmir are likely to witness rain and thunderstorms during the next three hours, the local meteorological office said on Tuesday.
Officials said brief intense rainfall or even hailstorm cannot be ruled out at a few places, though no significant weather activity is expected overall.
Meanwhile, higher reaches of the Valley received light to heavy rainfall today.
Doodhpathri and adjoining villages in central Kashmir recorded heavy downpour, causing a dip in day temperatures.
The weather office has advised people in hilly areas to remain cautious during spells of intense rain. [KNT]
