Srinagar: Three army soldiers, a police officer have been injured in an ongoing encounter in the Adigam area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday.
Srinagar based news agency GNS quoted top police officer as saying that during initial exchange of fire with militants, three army soldiers and a Police officer (ASP Kulgam) were injured .
All of them have been immediately shifted to a hospital for treatment, where their condition is stated to be stable.
Till this report was being filed, operation in the area was going on.
Earlier, a gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in the Adigam area.
