Srinagar, Sept 30: Shops and other business establishments remained closed in central Kashmir’s Budgam on Monday as the sign of protest against the killing of Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

After Israel killed the popular leader, Kashmir has witnessed many protests, especially by Shia Muslims, calling for an end to Israeli strikes in Gaza and Lebanon.

Rallies were taken out in Budgam town over the weekend in support of the slain Hezbollah commander and against the Israeli aggression.

On Sunday, Hawal, Zadibal, Saidakadal, Barbarshah, Gaw Kadal in Srinagar and Pattan in north Kashmir saw huge protest rallies comprising men, women, and children of all ages, raising pro-Palestine and pro-Hezbollah slogans.
