SOPORE: An 8-year-old girl died after being attacked by a stray dog in the Seloo area of Sopore on Friday.
Quoting officials, news agency Kashmir News Corner reported that, the deceased has been identified as Aiman Adnan Sheikh, daughter of Adnan Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Seloo, Sopore.
The minor had gone to her land when she was attacked by a stray dog, resulting in serious injuries. She later succumbed to her injuries, the official said.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation initiated.
