BARAMULLA: A 60-year-old man from Tangmarg area of Baramulla district was critically injured on Thursday after he fell from a tree near his home.
The injured has been identified as Abdul Salaam, son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Sheikh, a resident of Ferozpora, Tangmarg.
Hospital sources said he was first taken to Sub-District Hospital Tangmarg and later referred to JVC Hospital Bemina, Srinagar, after sustaining severe head trauma.
Doctors at JVC described his condition as critical and said he is under constant medical supervision. [KNT]
