Gandarbal: A 19-year-old youth was attacked with an iron rod by a group of youths while traveling on a bus near the Wussan petrol pump in the Kangan area of Central Kashmir’s Gandarbal district on Thursday.
Quoting official, News Vibes of India reported that the youth was attacked with an iron rod by a group of other youths in Gandarbal’s Kangan today.
He said the youth suffered injuries during the assault, and fellow passengers rushed him to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Wussan for treatment.
Meanwhile, he has been identified as Arsalan Latif a resident of Satrina Kangan.
Police have begun an investigation into the matter.
