SRINAGAR: In a pioneering move, JLNM Hospital, Rainawari, has launched its own quarterly medical journal—becoming the first district hospital in India to take such an initiative.
The official launch ceremony took place today in the presence of several dignitaries including the Honourable Minister for Health and Medical Education, Ms. Sakeena Masood Itoo; Hon. MLA Zadibal, Mr. Tanveer Sadiq; Director Health Services, Dr. Jehangir Bakshi; Professor Altaf Kawoosa (HOD Orthopaedics, GMC Srinagar); Medical Superintendent Dr. Tariq Jan; and Deputy Medical Superintendent, Dr. Asifa Jan.
This quarterly publication is designed to encourage research, academic writing, and knowledge-sharing among healthcare professionals at the district level. It aims to bridge the gap between clinical practice and academic medicine by offering a platform for doctors, nurses, and allied health staff to publish case studies, research articles, and healthcare insights.
