Srinagar: A house and school were damaged at midnight blaze in the Siligam area of South Kashmir Anantnag district.
An official told Kashmir Scroll that fire broke out at around midnight at village Siligam Aishmuqam in the main market.
In the incident the double storey house of khursheed Ahmad Sheikh son of Gh Hassan got completely damaged and Salfiya English Medium school also got partially damaged, he said.
Fire tenders from Aishmuqam and Seer Hamdan with the help of police and locals dosed off, and there was no loss of life/ injury in the incident, he said.
He added that cause of fire is being ascertained while further investigation has been taken up—(KS)
