Shopian: The Deputy Commissioner,
(DC), Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today Convened a meeting of officers to discuss the preparations for celebrations of Har Ghar Tiranga in the district.
The meeting held detailed discussion on effective implementation of set out modalities for the “Har Ghar Tiranga” initiative.
On the occassion, the DC said that the government has launched Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign to instill sense of patriotism among citizens and directed the officers to complete all the necessary arrangements in advance for successful celebration of Har Ghar Tiranga initiative.
The DC asked all the District Heads of departments to submit the requisitions for the National Flag for a timely and proper distribution of the National Flag among the employees.
He also directed BDOs and EOs to finalise requisition of flags for institutional and residential buildings of rural and urban areas for distribution of flags.
The DC said District Administration has put in place all the necessary arrangements for the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative and urged all the stakeholders to work in coordination and cooperation for observing all the events as per scheduled plans.
The DC emphasised for completing the task of Har Ghar Tiranaga within the shortest possible time.
District Tiranga Centre has been established on the occasion,headed by
ADDC which shall oversee the implementation of campaign
SDM at subdivisional and Tehsildars at Tehsil level will also monitor and oversee the implementation of campaign in thier respective jurisdictions.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner
Shopian, Manzoor Hussain, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Zainapora, Chief Planning Officer, Shopian, Principals, Assistant Commissioner Development, Sectoral and District officers, besides other concerned officials.
