Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday ordered for termination of services of six government officials, including several police personnel, over their involvement in ‘terror financing through drug sales’ in Kashmir.

As per details available, the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha led the administration invoking Article 311(2)(c) of the Indian Constitution dismissed the employees.

“The investigation revealed the employees were part of a narco-terror network run by Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI and terror groups operating from its soil,” the Sinha led administration said.

This is an emerging report and will be updated accordingly.

Notably, the Article 311 (2) (c) allows dismissal of a government employee without inquiry.
