Under the supervision of Incharge Mohammad Amin sofi , the Geogly and mining department along with officers of police post Ajas on Tuesday raided many areas of Sonawari against illegal mining and seized six vehicles.
Other officers of the department Ghulam Hussan Magary , Mohammad yousf , Shabir Ahmad and Manzoor Ahmed were also present in the raid, four tractors and two tippers were seized in the raid .
Mohammad Amin said that in order to curb illegal mining with the help of DO Ajas Sajad Ahmed, we caught six vehicles which were coming from the Baniyari and raided near Sadunara .
Mohammad Amin added that strict action would be taken against this illegal act and urged the people to cooperate with the administration. Anyone found involved in illegal mining will be prosecuted under the relevant provisions of the law.
